"Clinical Evidence Development of Medical Coaching for Narrative-based Medicine in Japan"
In the academic conference hosted by the Institute of Coaching at McLean Hospital, a Harvard Medical School Affiliate, Professor Kiyoshi Ando of Tokai University School of Medicine presented the coach training program for medical professionals, developed jointly with COACH A Co., Ltd.
In 2010, COACH A Co., Ltd., developed a coaching program for medical professionals called the MCTP: Medical Coach Training Program in a joint effort with Professor Kiyoshi Ando of Tokai University and Professor Shinichi Izumi of Tohoku University (please note that the program is currently unavailable). The details of the presentation by Professor Ando at this conference summarized the results of the research that led to the development of MCTP ("Effect of utilizing coaching on patients").
