Norie SHIMIZU
BACKGROUND
Norie graduated from Ochanomizu University, where she received a bachelor's degree in the Language and Culture Course in Linguistics and Literature. During her time in university, she had the opportunity to study abroad in New York, the United States. After graduating, she embarked on her professional career at a Japanese apparel company. Subsequently, she had the privilege of working overseas at the Embassy of Japan in the United Arab Emirates as an attaché of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, engaging in diplomatic missions abroad. Motivated by her aspiration to contribute to the globalization of Japanese companies, she transitioned to a British global company. It was during this period that her interest in coaching sparked, leading her to study and practice coaching-based management within her own organization. Recognizing the transformative power of "dialogue" and "subjectivation" in addressing challenges that arise as organizations grow and expand, she joined COACH A in 2022.
