BACKGROUND
Masaomi has a degree in Economics from Keio University. Originally born in the U.S., he moved to Japan for college after living in several different foreign cities. During his time in college, he took on the role of representing a club with around 300 members, which challenged his leadership abilities. While trying to improve his own leadership, he came across the concept of "coaching," a method that maximizes the potential of others. Realizing that coaching is not just about communication but also plays a vital role in the long-term growth of companies, Masaomi joined COACH A in 2016 with the ambition to support leaders in various organizations.
EXPERIENCE / ACHIEVEMENTS
With a diverse background in coaching research, sales, and project management operations in Japan, Masaomi embarked on a new chapter in 2020 when he was assigned to the Thailand office. Throughout his career, he has worked with clients spanning various industries, including manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, general trading, electronics, and so on.
Currently, Masaomi is actively coaching representatives of local subsidiaries, expatriate managers, and leaders in the Asian region. Known for his open-minded approach, he excels at building strong relationships where individuals feel comfortable discussing any topic. Alongside his coaching responsibilities, Masaomi is actively involved in the day-to-day operations, taking on roles in sales and project management. Fluent in both Japanese and English, he leverages his international experience to bring a bilingual coaching approach. His ultimate goal is to create a society where organizations thrive and individuals "enjoy their work" by cultivating transformative leaders worldwide who can drive organizational change by transforming themselves.
