Chiharu KOBAYASHI

» Japanese

BACKGROUND

Chiharu graduated from Keio University’s Faculty of Letters, specializing in Human Relations, driven by a passion for understanding human dynamics.
Inspired by the romance of the sea and ships, she embarked on her career at an international shipping company. She was struck by the progressive work environment while working in the UK – especially the significant presence of female managers and the work-life balance, with minimal overtime. Upon her return to Japan, she joined the HR department, becoming a driving force in spearheading workplace reform within the company.
After marriage and the birth of her children, her passion for building a future where the next generations could work with purpose and excitement intensified. This prompted her to join a consulting firm affiliated with a think tank, where she focused on organizational and human resources development across various industries.
Her experience across numerous projects led to a profound realization: true organizational development begins not with organizational restructuring, but with the behavior transformation of the employees.
This insight fueled her interest in systemic coaching as a tool for unlocking organizational potential, ultimately leading her to join Coach A, where she continues to inspire positive change in organizations worldwide.

Chiharu is currently leading organizational development projects across a wide range of industries, including electronics manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, and life insurance firms. One of her strengths lies in transforming clients from mere "stakeholders" into "active participants," fostering a team-based, holistic approach to achieving organizational success.
As a coach, she excels at working with values and presence, helping clients deepen their self-awareness and unlock their potential for self-driven development.
