BACKGROUND

After completing a master's at the Waseda University Graduate School of Science and Engineering,Michiko joined Tokyo Marine and Fire Insurance (now Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd.). In the Product Planning Department she developed new products for financial institutions and carried out strategic planning to enter new markets.
Since 2006 she has worked at COACH A as an executive coach, supporting top management in leading organizational reform for a variety of industries including manufacturing, finance and service. In January 2017 she took on the role of Managing Director at COACH A (Thailand) Co., Ltd. Became a Director of COACH A and returned from Thailand in 2021. Appointed Director of COACH U, INC. in 2022, and Director / Managing Executive Officer in March 2023. Appointed Director / CEO of COACH A Americas, Inc. in May 2023, concurrently serving as Head of the U.S. office and overseeing global business operations. Has held current position since April 2026.

EXPERIENCE / ACHIEVEMENTS

Michiko has handled organizational reform projects for everything from expert committees composed of a few members, to large global corporations in a variety of industries and business conditions. She manages entire projects as a coach and project leader, engaged in aspects from planning to solve organizational problems, to executive coaching for top management.
She has succeeded in revolutionizing the corporate culture in many organizations to give birth to organizational dynamics that develop leaders, promote diversity and make the company's core values transparent.
What distinguishes her executive coaching is the flexibility to respond to the conditions of various hard assignments from clients, including business succession, strategy implementation, and cases requiring interpersonal skills.
