Angie TONG
BACKGROUND
After graduating from McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science, Double Major in Biology and Linguistics, Angie joined the Japanese local government, where she worked extensively to promote international relations and exchange. Through her experiences working with leaders from various countries and industries, she realized the importance of developing leaders who can ignite and empower others through their leadership to achieve bigger missions and goals. Angie decided to become a professional coach and joined COACH A.
EXPERIENCE / ACHIEVEMENTS
Angie is an executive coach with over a decade of experience supporting leaders and organizations worldwide. She is fluent in English, Japanese and Mandarin. Her expertise lies in supporting leaders through cross-cultural leadership challenges, transitions, and post-merger integrations (PMIs), as well as partnering with project owners to design systemic coaching projects. She is passionate about partnering with leaders to navigate new challenges, shift mindsets and behaviors, and unlock the full potential of their leadership and teams. She believes the most influential leaders are those who develop other leaders and that transformation begins with the leader themselves. Angie also manages a global team, where she strives to apply a coach-approach to her own leadership.
